Betway esports lead Sweedish Organisation Ninjas in Pyjamas signed a three-year deal between Nicolas “Plopski” Gonzalez Zamora and the team.
The 17-year-old was only with NiP eight months after his Ancient signature. To fill the gap left by Dennis “Dennis” Edman, NiP signed a young talent.
“I am really happy to announce that I have extended my contract with NiP and I am looking forward to continuing the journey with this amazing team,” Plopski said. “I’ve learned a lot during my time as a Ninja and 2020 is when I want to step up and play to my full potential. With a solid line-up going into the new year, we have what it takes to become champions.”
This is one step in the NiP transition towards a young and new line-up following the departure of Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg, last remaining Member of the NiP “old guardian.” The current competition is a strong line-up that brings us into the new year, making us champions.
The team recently played in Group A of the BLAST Premier Spring Series, finishing third over FaZe and Liquid, with a victory over MIBR.
Until they step into a closed Europe Minor qualifier, IEM Katowice is the next event in the NiP calendar.
