Carvana, Red Bull , the U.S. Army , Kraken Rum , and MSI have signed on with esports organization Pittsburgh Knights as event sponsors. The five brands will debut with activations during the Replay FX expo on August 1-4, to be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh.
Additional terms of these partnerships were not disclosed.
Replay FX is an annual videogaming and pinball expo that features esports competitions overseen by the Pittsburgh Knights and the “world’s largest pinball tournament” with $100K USD in prizes.
Carvana will sponsor the main gaming stage and MSI will sponsor the PC LAN area, the Pittsburgh Knights announced. The U.S. Army will host a gaming station using one of its new “mobile battle station trucks,” while Kraken Rum hosts a lounge area dubbed the “Rum Runners’ Hideaway Bar.”

Red Bull will be the “official energy drink” of Replay FX. The pinball main stage will be sponsored by eBay and Stern Pinball will be on-hand with a dedicated booth. Meanwhile, recently added Pittsburgh Knights partners Smile Direct Club and Sheetz will each have a “unique presence” at the expo, according to a release.
The Pittsburgh Knights have welcomed a slew of new partners after the Pittsburgh Steelers invested in the organization last year. In April, Pennsylvania-based convenience store chain Sheetz became a jersey sponsor. Smile Direct Club made its first esports partnership in April as well, by sponsoring a weekly video series and other activations with the Knights.
Rapper Wiz Khalifa recently joined the organization as a strategic partner, sharing his advice on topics like entertainment and creative direction. The team is also selling a jersey-style t-shirt featuring Khalifa’s name and branding.
