Now the Cops are Involved in This League of Legends Scandal!?

by devaccess

Folks, this Griffin saga keeps getting wilder.

This week, we’ve got police reports, even more allegations of abuse and what might be a total overhaul of Korean esports contracts.

Once again, this story is nuts, so let’s get into it.

The whole situation is pretty much like the daily shat happening in the Korean entertainment industry, just look at how many artists suicided in the past months

If this happens in other countries

Their government: its just a game bruh why so serious?

Now you know why koreans are good at esports because they treat it as a professional thing

That moment when ppl take competitive gaming waaay too seriously… it's a wonder why they are so toxic… just like sports events. eventually, passion becomes obsession… what is this? League of Drama?

p.s should definitely rename 'League of Legends' to 'League of Drama'…

Your way of presentinf fact were not neutrals
He is innocent until proven guilty
Beside if its truly physical abuse and someone already has evidence they dont need to hype it up and go to police
They also supposed to verify the alegation of force signing tha agreement before annuling it

Apart from a popular comment by Jason Cho(what he stated was correct), GRF asked other players to back up Sword accusing cvmax, Doran refused. Immediately, Doran was kicked out from GRF with no where to stay. Luckily with the help of cvmax, Doran was able to stay at Dopa’s place.

Although cvmax did physically hit Chovy(cvmax confessed)Chovy chose to forgive and followed cvmax to DRX. Which is why the video released from DRX recruiting Chovy, was very touching.Chovy said a very common sentence: ” Let’s go to Worlds together this year.” Because last year cvmax was kicked out from GRF before Worlds, this common sentence had a special meaning for them.

I feel like this story could have been handled better. Does it really matter if the agreement was sound on the verbal side if we don't know if it's illegal or not in korea? Would have been nice to know how Korean laws work because I'm sure they are quite different than what we have.

I can see why Korean players leave korea for NA. They get paid more and treated like human beings. Anyone with the right mind will give up "success" for that

I swear theScore esports videos on this are 90% recap 9% memes and 1% new information. I've only recently started binging these videos, if you actually watch them back to back theres almost no substance and all padding.

Youre better than this guys.

Your report is wrong , CV-Max did not use of violence to his team players. Look this way , Why Chovy chosen CV-Max's again? LPC team try to get Chovy snd give him a huge money more then 3minions offered but Chovy turned down and joined CV Max's for less money because he trust CV Max . That tells CV Max never use of violence. !!!
