Valve has shipped out a small update which seemingly aims to fix the drastic performance issues which CSGO was facing after the Trusted Mode update which was introduced to CSGO a few days back.

After the initial introduction of the Trusted Mode, players started raising complaints across social media like Reddit and Twitter about the performance issues the update was causing to their games. The problems ranged from random frame skips and losses to sudden FPS drops in genera.

CSGO devs have addressed this issue in their blog through the June 13th update which attempts to eliminate the root cause of the problems.

According to the blog, these performance issues were being caused by “caused by third party applications repeatedly attempting to inject into CS:GO,” which has now been fixed.

Some third-party applications causing the game to crash have also apparently been fixed by the CSGO devs.

However, it’s important to note that the third party applications which were previously banned are likely still prohibited from injecting into the game, which might be bad news for streamers since some major streaming softwares were banned as a result of the Trusted Mode in CSGO.
