The CS: GO group has an understanding that Inferno offers great matches if it is the deciding map of the game.
Whoever today looked at Natus Vincere vs. FaZe will from now on accept. In IEM Katowice group A, Na’Vi beat FaZe 2-1 in order to qualify for the quarterfinals, eliminating FaZe from the tournament.
For the viewers at home, the first maps of the series were not fun to do. Nuke (16-8) was dominated by FaZe and Na’Vi struck Dust II (16-6) when s1mple came alive, with some great features after only eight shoots on Nuke.
FaZe started badly at Inferno but at the end of the first half won some critical rounds. The game ended with the teams starting exchanges. The match ended. But Na’Vi closed the series after hitting the B-bombsite successfully and nailed two key shots.
But this is not just about s1mple, since on Na’Vi everybody, especially in Inferno, did their job. In the first half, Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy had several twins and electronics and flamie wonan important two-vs. two clutches to capture a place. Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov destroyed Faze’s plans several times while playing in Banana. With 58 kills, Electronic was the series ‘ top fragger.
In the playoffs, Na’Vi deserves being. Each squad, even a favourite like Astralis, is eliminated. As regards FaZe, they can not take their two defeats away from this tourney, today and in the opening round, to Na’Vi.
