Vitality the French giants have been the best in a three-running series to claim EPICENTER, which was the winner of the last three CS:GO events in a row.
The disappearance in mousesports marks the end of their amazing race. They’re only starting for resilience, though. This is the first offline victory for the French side since they won the ECS Season 7 Finals in June.
The whole thing has been remarkable, but it was mostly the product of one man: AWPer Mathieu, a 19-year-old from Herbaut “ZywOo,” arguably the world’s best player. With his impressive numbers, he dominated the Vitality series alone and ended up killing 87. Alex McMeekin, master in the game, finished 60 frags, was next to him.
After an intense battle on Inferno, Vitality awarded mousesports the first screen. The plan was between two of the world’s best teams, but mouse sports were able to close the 16-14 map by stealing the map selection of Vitality.
But without a fight, strength did not go down. Although David “frozen” Čerňanský pulled an impressive one-vs-three to get his squad around the 12th period, it didn’t make sense. In the second half of the game, the French sides squatted the mousesports, Mirage, 16-12.
This pure assault from Vitality would go on to Nuke, the third and final map. ZywOo would have a special spectacular display, but Cédric “RpK” Guipouy stole this time the series in French tank. Mousesports awarded their amazing finish on the third and final map 16-9.
Vitality has finished high in their year and is likely to win the next major in May.
