MIBR bench coldzera; zews to step in for Blast Pro Series LA & IEM Chicago » TalkEsport

As has been reported for a fair bit of time, mibr have finally officially confirmed the benching of their talismanic superstar coldzera with immediate effect. The Brazilian will not be part of the active roster starting today, with zews stepping in to fill the void for the upcoming events like Blast Los Angeles and IEM Chicago.

The benching, while expected after the recent reports, does come as a bit of a shock for mibr fans worldwide, with the major not far away. Zews will be stepping in for the two events but cannot be the fifth person in the roster for the Starladder Major, as confirmed by Starladder themselves via a twitter interaction.

This will trigger mibr’s second change in their roster since they decided to go full Brazilian once again. Lucas1 has been brought in to replace felps and there have been rumours linking HEN1 with a move to link up with his brother once again, with Fallen tipped to relinquish the primary AWP role to the Luminosity star. kscerato was linked way before Lucas1 joined. But, his new five-year FURIA deal will make his buyout a nigh impossible one for mibr to spend.

These are all speculations right now. The only facts for mibr right now is that they might just need to play the Starladder Major with coldzera. If that is indeed the case, the decision to not play with him for the next few events leading up to the Major raises concerns over the lineup’s viability to compete for the Major title at Starladder.
