The first phase of the 2019 Overwatch League came to an end on Monday morning with the big final between the Vancouver Titans and San Francisco Shock. In a fierce series, the Titans defeated their opponents by 4-3 and earned $ 200,000 in prizes. South Korea’s Seo DPS “SeoMinSoo” Min-soo was elected the MVP of the confrontation. The Canadian franchise ended the competition 100% record.
Seoul Dynasty, New York Excelsior, Boston Uprising, Atlanta Reign, Toronto Defiant and Philadelphia Fusion also qualified for the playoffs. Check out the main statistics of the teams in the opening phase.

Kim “RAPEL” Jung-geun, the reserve of the Vancouver Titans, was the athlete with the best kill average. However, the South Korean veteran played only 28 minutes throughout the championship. Among the starters, Dylan “aKm” Bignet proved his mettle in the biggest competition. The French DPS of Dallas Fuel accumulated an average of 22.19 kills while the MVP of the Vancouver Titan, SeoMinSoo finished at third.

Jung “Anamo” Tae-sung, from New York Excelsior, was the player with the lowest death rate in the inaugural phase. The South Korean support was one of the main highlights of the North American franchise, which ended the regular season unbeaten with seven wins and no defeat. Choi “JJANU” Hyeon-Woo, of the Canadian team, sits at second place with an average of 2.70.

Jay “Sinatraa” Won, one of the great players in the Overwatch League, excelled in the playoffs of the first leg. No wonder, he was the athlete with the best average damage dealt. The shooter of the American franchise, San Francisco Shock is top of the rankings with an average of 13,497. While Kim “FITS” Dong-eon (12,628), of Seoul Dynasty sits at 2nd place and SeoMinSoo (12,066), of the Vancouver Titans comes third.

Park “Viol2t” Min-ki, one of San Francisco Shock’s best support’s in the second season of the Overwatch League, proved that he was worth every penny. South Korean was clinical in his team’s success, showing some of the best plays of 2019 on Zenyatta and finished the first leg as the best healer of the championship (11,623). Just below, Jonas “Shaz” Salovaara also stood out. The Finnish star of the Los Angeles Gladiators was in the runner-up of the ranking with an average of 11,205.
