When Riot teased that they were working on a first-person shooter back in October, the community was both like “Christmas came early” and “Uh what the hell is this thing?”
Well yesterday Riot dropped a ton of new information on us. We now have an official name, a release date, got our first significant look at some real gameplay and a better understanding of Riot’s next big project.

What do you guys think, Is Valorant actually going to compete with CS:GO? Or will it carve out its own lane?

Well if they're gonna have classes with different characters, imma rekon this gonna play out just like OW vs TF2
I love good voice lines, and I doubt Riot would make them repetitive (quite a few champions in league have nearly 100 voicelines, and then more for skins). I'm sure some people want to just focus on the gameplay, like the hardcore FPS people. Options to turn things on/off is always good.
But coming from more lore-based games like League, I think that's huge. Done properly, this could appeal to a more casual playerbase, but also giving the hardcore FPS players what they are looking for.

The game that can take down CS:GO is the Next Counter Strike game made by valve.
Nobody can replace csgo
This is the type of game that I would get a headache and vomit for playing many hours, unlike CSGO
