JD Gaming jungler Kanavi made history this spring. The 19-year-old became the first non-mid laner named the LPL’s league MVP, beating out names like the reigning world champion Doinb.
In his first-ever split as a starter, Kanavi achieved what most players spend their whole careers chasing. He wasn’t just named MVP, he became an LPL champion.
But just a few months ago, Kanavi’s future as a pro was in question. At just 18 years old, he found himself in the middle of arguably the biggest scandal in Korean League of Legends history.

I love JDG – As an organisation and in terms of players so happy they won.

Elder brother? Onii-chan?
He's basically Uzi[Solo carry} on a competent role
Ehm Kanavi played for JDG in summer 2019 as a starter this was his 2nd split
Are you guys gonna cover the TSM drama?
Good to see that he came out of all that with so much strength.
What’s the song around 7 mins? Actually slaps
He got da college dropout on vinyl doe 😳
Do "The Story of Fatal1ty" , he deserves it more than anyone.
Where is our story about best western team in hisotry G2 ?
how can i send them a topic to discuss? like storys
IMO Kanavi's story reminds me of some cheesy Chinese fantasy novels, of which MC would suffer at the beginning but slapped the hater' face in the end. He is a hard-working boy and worthy of all these honors.
This story looks like an one piece of film…
Petition for The Score to do a Story for Ryu
Sword must be malding right now
That college dropout record PogChamp
So how would JD gaming fair against SKT and faker???
I bet tarzan and sword are crying rn
I meant this is literally the classic “You get what you F*cking deserve” scene from joker. Griffin (although a powerhouse of a team) got the most basic from of Karma from what the management did. I just feel bad since so much talent is going to waste and left in relegation I.E sword,Tarzan,Wadid, etc.
I'm so glad he ended up somewhere great for him, he deserves it
What if Korea pulled out all of their players and coaches around the world to come home and those who didn't can't never go back. LPL and LCS will be doomed seriously. They are still relying heavily to korean imports. But just a side note I think LPL can recover fast in this situation I don't know about LCS.
I hope TheScore covers TSM Leena and the Holy War just so we can put it in the League Of Legends History books.
imagine how concise this video would be if you didn't repeat the same information and clips over and over.
Why are you, a journalist, saying something, then supplementing that with a clip of your colleague, a journalist, saying the exact same thing?
i get that you have a style guide but this would be improved by taking a step back and assessing the flow of the whole video
Dota 2 > LOL
When the rise and fall of siege video coming R6 is incredibly not fun to play rn

Plz next time show some moment where he really carry the fight by plays and not follow up …
Take a shot every time you hear the phrase "unfavorable contact".
I like the subtle flex with the Ye Vynil.
A carry lpl jngl sounds scary af
