arriving quickly on the Iron Crown and a fresh event created by Wraith’s “mysterious past”-Voidwalker-Apex Legends has outlined how the royal free-to-play fight will come.
Starting on September 3rd and continuing until September 17th, Voidwalker introduces a range of “awesome content” including a new town acquisition, a time-limited mode called Armed and Dangerous where guns are restricted to snipers and shotguns “while overall loot is much harder to come by” and fresh difficulties to gain “exclusive skins and Wraith-themed content” It is reported that all difficulties and benefits are restricted to the two-week case.
There will also be a Double XP operating from 6th September to 9th September for the Top 5 and Wins Weekend, the award of which will influence both account status and fight pass development. There will also be a direct buy store, probably in reaction to the furore of the loot box that hit the last incident of Apex. It will include a collection of thematic cosmetics such as the legendary Voidwalker Wraith and custom animation pick personality, and unknown “lower price point items” These smaller products will cost $5 for six months and will be “event limited”
There will also be six fresh iconic objects added to the key loot pool. You can also pick them up in the shop as well as crafting or unlocking them from bags.
“Syndicate construction crews have unearthed part of a decayed Project: Wraith facility in Kings Canyon,” Respawn clarified in the latest blog article. “Jump in to discover for yourself the mysterious remains of the research site, including a functional prototype portal that can be used to get an early jump on the base-or to escape and reinitiate skydive.
And be sure to keep an eye out for other hidden lore details.” As Wes described, Respawn’s otherwise wonderful fight royale hit the headlines for all the incorrect reasons with the advent of the heirloom set of Bloodhound, which contains an axis, a kill quip, and a banner pose, could only be unlocked after opening packs worth around £ 130–and then paying £ 28 more. (Check out Emma’s great overview of the real horror of the scenario here.) Respawn’s Drew McCoy then posted a blog article that would respond to the scenario.
In it, he confessed that “with the Iron Crown event we missed the mark when we broke our promise by making Apex Packs the only way to get what many consider to be the coolest skins we’ve released.
