Haters gonna hate – esportsjunkie

by Shehryar Raza

For almost a year now we have been watching the Danish team dominate the CS: GO scene. In April 2018, the team climbed to the first place in the HLTV.org rating and has been sitting there ever since.

During this time, Astralis has won 12 tournaments, two of which are the Majors: FACEIT Major and IEM Katowice Major. With this dazzling success, the Danes have not only gained new fans, but also a huge number of ill-wishers.

“Astralis is a very boring team. I’m tired of looking at how they win! ”- messages that can often be found on the HLTV forum and subreddit of Global Offensive. The longer the team from Denmark sits at the first place, the more such comments will likely to appear on the forums.

Best team for a reason

Astralis is the best team in CS: GO history. This is not a subjective opinion, but a confirmed fact. At least for this reason, the side deserves respect. The Danish five established their era of domination, as Ninjas in Pyjamas, Fnatic and SK Gaming did in the past. However, Astralis stands out against the background of its predecessors due to the period in which it achieved this. Xyp9x, device, gla1ve, dupreeh and Magisk were the best in the face of fierce competition.

There will always be haters

Please note that fan-hatred flow has always been subjected to the strongest teams in CS: GO. Many times, viewers accused Fnatic of cheating, doubted the integrity of the SK Gaming Brazilians and sent racist insults to them. Ninjas in Pyjamas got the least of all but in their times the CS: GO community was not as big as it is today. Out of these teams, Astralis has faced the most hate. Since not a day goes by without a comment about how the haters are fed up with everything that Astralis has achieved and when they will start to lose.

Incredible records

Astralis has set incredible records. Nikolay device Ridtts has earned seven MVP medals in the last 12 months! Each of the team members was in the top twenty players in the world at the end of 2018. In 17 consecutive LANS Astralis finished at least in 3-4 places. In 12 of them, the Danes won, while in another three, they reached the final. The team from Denmark earned $ 4.3 million in prize money after the arrival of Emil Magisk Rafe.

With these results, Astralis motivates the rest of the team to become stronger. Players from other teams devote more time to training and learn from the example of God-like Danes. The goal to overthrow the Astralis becomes their priority. This has a positive effect on the level of the game and creates a healthy competition. Due to this, the entertainment of competitive CS: GO continues to grow!

They are not guilty that their colleagues do not keep up with them. No one will deliberately lose in order to satisfy the desire of the audience to see a new champion for each month. If this was their favorite team, fans would not complain about its domination.
