The Complexity AWPer’s visa request did not get approved yet
Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli might not be able to join the Complexity team in Dallas next month for the IEM Dallas 2023. Complexity CSGO’s general manager Graham “messioso” Pitt has confirmed that the Norwegian did not get his visa for the United States yet, Dust2.Us reports.
Complexity have been vocal about the visa complications hallzerk has faced lately. The 22-year-old nearly missed out on BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR held in Monterrey, Mexico under similar circumstances. Luck, however, was on his side as he managed to obtain an emergency passport while his original one was still held at the Norwegian Embassy. This fortunate turn of events enabled him to travel to the RMR without any further difficulties.
Visa issues have been a lingering problem for the Norwegian that dates back to his pre-Complexity days.

Since there have been no developments regarding hallzerk’s visa troubles, the team is reportedly looking at stand-in options.
After stepping into Paytyn “junior” Johnson’s shoes, hallzerk has made an astonishing impact on the team. Although Complexity’s performance has had its fair share of ups and downs, there have been glimpses of sheer brilliance, such as their remarkable top-eight finish at IEM Katowice 2023. Their extraordinary gameplay also propelled them to a commendable eighth position on HLTV’s prestigious world rankings, albeit for a brief period.
