Grayhound defeated Liquid Team 2-0 to send DreamHack Masters Malmö’s North Americans back today.
Liquid is the second CS: GO tournament defeat for Grayhound, as the Australians killed Evil Geniuses in the starting round as well. But Liquid’s match lives expense today.
On Mirage, the first chart of the sequence, Grayhound made an awful return. Liquid was up 12-3, but the Australians received a T-side eight matches and only granted one before taking the 16-13 victory. The best fragger with 26 dead was Simon “sico” Williams.
In Nuke, Liquid missed its highest edge, the first quarter of 8-7 on its CT hand. Three matches were held in the 2nd quarter by the North Americans and Grayhound re-dominated them, losing eight matches and ending 16-10. The Australian leader Liam “Malta” Schembri resulted 23 murders.
North America has its worst tourney of the year, as two of the favourites for winning the event Liquid and Evil Geniuses have already been eliminated. Despite Liquid’s subpar performance, it is unfair to not mention that they and EG played last Sunday at ESL One New York and didn’t have any rest until DreamHack Masters Malmö.
The only surviving hot dog is Astralis who was also performed on Sunday and is a enormous favorite to lose. On the first day of the competition, the Danes trained for the finals.
