Gen.G Esports has partnered with Meta Threads on an apparel manufacturing and distribution deal for North America, the companies announced this week.
Meta Threads will produce Gen.G-branded gaming apparel, beginning with the Gen.G 2019 Pro Jersey, which is available now. Although Gen.G also has a presence in South Korea and China due to teams in those countries, this deal is specifically focused on the North American market.
“We’re really excited to work with Meta Threads to expand our merchandise offering in the U.S.,” said Gen.G. chief operating officer Arnold Hur, in a release. “They are a great partner for us and will help us continue to build and reach out to a unique fanbase around the world. We’ve got a lot of exciting plans ahead for all our fans.”

Just this week, Gen.G opened its United States headquarters and training facility in Los Angeles, with its Call of Duty , Fortnite , and Apex Legends teams training at the space and living nearby. Gen.G also opened a seven-story South Korean headquarters in Seoul last November.
Meta Threads is the official apparel partner of several esports teams, including Team Liquid , Team SoloMid , and Echo Fox . The company has also collaborated with the likes of Microsoft’s Xbox brand and musician Deadmau5.
