G2 Esports is pushing their players to limits in Korea – esportsjunkie

Mid-Season International is just a few days and the competition will host some of the best teams in the world. It is no doubt that every team is preparing hard to make a mark in one of the prestigious competitions of the year and G2 are not taking anything for granted. The team is pushing its limit on the Korean servers.

The stars of G2 are currently attending a boot camp in South Korea to prepare for the MSI. The French side seems to be quite reluctant to finish strong in the tournament. Each member of the team has successfully reached Master Rank on the Korean servers of League Of Legends.

Master Tier Reached!

Martin “Wunder” Hansen, the top laner reached the rank with a 60% win and 54LP. He has shown outstanding stats as he has played 95 games in just five days. In most of the games, he picked Neeko and holds a 75% win rate on the champion. We should be seeing the champion at the MSI 2019.

Meanwhile, the MVP of the LEC 2019, Rasmus “Caps” Winther is also working hard in Korea. He reached the Master rank after 46 LP. Like Wunder, he is also playing a lot of Neeko. This just proves the flexibility of the player.

Hampus “promisq” Mikael Abrahamsson will be playing in the first team after the injury problems of Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle. He is also practicing hard in Korea and reached Master rank. Meanwhile, Perkz and Jankos have also made it to the top tier. It is not an uncommon practice for the team to compete in the Korean ranked Ladder. Since the region is quite competitive compared to EU and NA. Seeing G2 players performing incredibly well just shows how dedicated they are to finish strong at MSI.

All participants of the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational League of Legends will need to give all of their efforts. The tournament will feature 13 teams from all competitive regions. The champions of China, South Korea, and Europe will compete in the main stage of the tournament. Meanwhile, participants from other regions will start the championship from the Play-In stage. Vega Squadron will represent the CIS as the winner of the spring division of the Continental League.
