In a recent announcement by Furia, they have completed the signing of Henrique “HEN1” Teles.
HEN1 joins the Brazilian squad in place of Rinaldo “ablej” Moda junior, after the later has been shifted to a substitute role in the team.
This is the first change by the Brazilian organization since October 2018, when ablej was promoted from the academy team and since then they were playing with the same squad.
FURIA jumped to the Top 5 HLTV ranking in June 2019 by reaching semi-finals at DreamHack Masters Dallas and Grand finals at ECS Season 7 Finals but was not able to maintain their standards and dropped out of ESL One Cologne in 6th-9th place and of the Starladder Berlin Major in the New Challengers stage with a 1-3 score-line.
HEN1 has previously helped his team, Immortals to be the runners up of PGL Major Krakow in 2017 and was recently benched by Luminosity when the North American Organisation decided to release their entire team.
FURIA will be attending their first big LAN event with a new line-up at DreamHack Masters Malmo starting on October 1st.
FURIA now have:
•Andrei “arT” Pioveza
•Yuri “yuurih” Santos
•Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato
•Vinicius “VINI” Figueiredo
