W7M and Redemption Eliminated
W7M Gaming and Redemption eSports had their fair share of hard luck. The runners-up of the Gamers Club Masters, W7M showed technical superiority and eliminated the Gaucho organization 2-0. The team led by Rafael ” raafa ” Lima closed the series with a dominating 16-0 ( Overpass ) and 16-8 (Inferno). Even with this incredible victory, W7M couldn’t qualify for the next phase of the competition. Since Valiance beat the Brazilians 2-0. W7M was outplayed in both games of the series as they were beaten 16-7 on Inferno and 16-8 on Nuke.
In the third match of the day, FURIA returned to the stage to confirm its spot in the semifinal. After a series of great performances from Yuri “yuurih” Santos, who was the MVP of the game, the Panthers beat INTZ, 2-0. INTZ had no reply to the aggressive tactics of FURIA, as this decider series was finished in less than 45 minutes. The Panthers won 16-3 on Nuke and 16-4 on Train. This defeat means the elimination of INTZ from the competition.
