So by now, we’ve all heard about it. Bugha, a 16-year-old kid, won three million dollars at the Fortnite World Cup this weekend.
Your friends that don’t even play video games, your brother, even your mom is texting you, asking you about it.
With Bugha winning life-changing money, before he even graduates high school, we couldn’t help but ask ourselves:
Who is this kid?
The fact that we ask that, is a massive problem.

You clearly haven't paid attention much to comp Fortnite if you don't know many of the players lmao.
6:55 Looks like Nate's been doing work since he left OWL
The fact that we ask that, is NOT a massive problem. You are not able to tell me the n°1 in darts competitions, so why should we know your n°1? Every sport/esport has its own community, you don't have to know them all.
God I hate BR games
I think it's not only a massive problem that none of the actually best players were know, but that the barrier of entry was so low, age wise. Sure, you can bring up the argument that an age barrier might dilute the competition and that's a fair point towards the integrity of that eSport. However the age barrier of 13 encourages kids to become a Fortnite Pro not before graduating High School, but before graduating Middle School. I think a Fortnite League is great way to ensure the wellbeing of these athletes since the restrictions would have to be much higher and organizations would be forced to commit more to their athletes in terms of all around education and health.
Like this for a story of bugga
Fornite sucks….. wait it's cancer
Wins 3 mil then realizes the amount of tax he has to pay Pepehands… Bugha actually owe the federal government 1.2mil lol
to be honest, I didn't even know people took fortnite seriously. As much as I despise it, I support it's competitive scene because it would be hypocritical since i hated the people that said esports is not a thing
who tf looked at that tournament
The S1mples of fortnite xD
I dont know who he is.
F OMEGALUL RTNITE
Everytime I spend $2 on Steam market, I see the word on your shirt…
Fortgay
THANK YOU. for finally relating fortnite to the rest of the comp gaming scene and world and pointing out its RESPECTABLE qualities. I cant wait to see fortnite esports if they can do it right In a year from now.
Thats Bullshit Talk. Alot of league stars popup in the worlds and became stars After. Faker was no Legend before worlds.
How TF do you follow the Fortnite competitive scene and not know who Bugha was? I call bullshit.
go watch top 10 tfue plays a t world cup https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VrgumDR6Xo
still dont give a damn about fortnut
If you heard bugha's name once when he qualified and then didnt hear his name until he won the world cup then you arent as into the fortnite esports scene as you claim to be. Everyone knew how mechanically insane this guy was wayy before the world cup finals.
Thanks for NOT Trash Talking Fortnite and actually giving it a chance ??
Fortnite esports has a bad start. They should fix it or else instead of improving you'll see your players deteriorating. High pressure gaming puts stress not only on the brain but it takes toll on the body too.
I new everybody in the top 4 they been in many tournaments
Don’t fucking compare some shitty fortnite players to people who actually put real time into a good game like counter strike and league. No battle royale compares competitively to those 2
Wa
thats a stoned host?
Sorry, but this is the worst video ive seen in a long fking time on this channel… from the title I expected to see something about this Buga guy 🙁 but instead I wasted 8 minutes of my life listening about EpicGames‘ eSports progress…
I'm trying to get my fiance's 11 year old son to start practicing. He's been playing Fortnite for awhile on his Switch. He's also playing Team Fortress 2 but I don't think that game will ever be an esport.
