fnatic have added Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg to their active CS:GO roster as a stand-in for their upcoming matches at the Pinnacle Cup Championship which is to start in a day as they lock horns with Casper “cadiaN” Møller and army in their opener. The addition of f0rest was earlier hinted by Patrik “cArn” Sättermon as fnatic who were practicing with their fifth player. Yet unknown fell sick at their bootcamp and was ruled out of further play.

f0rest is no stranger to fnatic as the Swede had played under the banner of the former during his CS 1.6 days before signing up for the Ninjas in Pyjamas squad with whom he won the ESL One: Cologne 2014 Major followed a runner-up finish at the Katowice 15 iteration by the same organizer. The start of 2020 saw f0rest move to Dignitas ending his 8-year stint with NiP but the transfer indeed met a short fate which saw the North America – Swedish drop their roster ahead of a potential restructure.

fnatic recently revamped their roster with two new players, Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi and Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen formerly of Copenhagen Flames, and were yet to announce their fifth and final piece to their puzzle before they were forced to use a stand-in ahead of their clash with Heroic on June 8.

The current lineup of fnatic now has:

  • Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson
  • William “mezii” Merriman
  • Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi
  • Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen
  • Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg (Stand-in)
  • Jamie “keita” Hall (Head Coach)
  • Alex “ALEX” McMeekin (benched)
  • Valentin “poizon” Vasilev (benched)
