The 2v2v2v2 Arena game mode drops on July 20 for League of Legends
Riot finally gave us a full look on its new League of Legends game mode “Arena”, which will pit 8 players in a 2v2v2v2 scenario. Each match-up will have their turn fighting a pair, with each win getting you higher on the scoreboard.
When in doubt, just punch it.

The trailer showed off LoL’s newest way to play, along with a ton of new augments and perks. Some of these will give your champion unbelievably powerful abilities and all-new summoner spells. On top of that, the brand new Arena maps will have never-before seen plants which can give your duo a much-needed leg-up.
Arena will see players fight for supremacy on a new playground. With one look at the trailer, these new environments seem to shrink the longer a match goes on. Different area conditions were also shown, implying that Drake elements will have a role to play in the much-anticipated League of Legends update.
We also got a closer look at the Soul Fighter cameo characters in all of their glory. Needless to say, Riot never misses with the skin designs.
The “Soul Fighter” event was first teased in the cameo trailer that was posted on Riot’s socials. The sneak peak promised over-the-top combos, crazy power-ups and more across the main game, Legends of Runeterra and Teamfight Tactics. View the full trailer below.
