Esports Club can’t make it to Majors

by Ian Zane

DOTA Summit 11 has spectacularly kicked off the DPC season with exciting action throughout the four day period. While Chaos Esports Club was able to take a wonderful second place, it wasn’t enough to get them into the major, so their three-place credit player came back to his team.

Jonáš’ SabeRLight-‘ Volek would be picked up by Team Singularity–in its newly reconstructed roster, after it failed to reach The International 2019 together with the Czech Republic Hippomaniacs squad. Although the DOTA Summits 11 Minor with Singularity were not held, a team who had already qualified and who had departed from Sumail ‘ SumaiL’ Hassan would need another player, Jonáš was given the possibility to join Quincy Crew with loan. Joining QC presented him with an opportunity to take part in ESL One Hamburg 2019, but Jonáš ‘ first appearance did not amount to a great deal.

But the Minor was another tale as QC, which now dominates both group stage and early postseason, under the umbrella of the Chaos Esports Club. The victors–Invictus Gaming–were their only failure during the whole thing. The second place was sadly not enough to bring the team to the Chengdu Major and therefore the trial for Jonáš began.

SabeRLight will now return to their former team Singularity and may look forward to their first step back into the next line of Minor and Major Qualifiers. With the excellent Dota 2 Pro Circuit feedback from Jonáš, it could in the near future be exciting for singularity.
