Grayhound Gaming claimed a dominant win of 2-0 over ORDER this Monday, but skipped the last Electric Sports League game for the second year in a row.
The closure of the ESL Pro League S10 Oceania was pretty narrow, but in the two fast rounds, Grayhound had other plans to decimate their opponents and win a ticket to the final.
Grayhound, ORDER, the Esports Club Chiefs and Avant Gaming are part of ESL Pro League S10 Oceania’s second stage. While all four teams had outstanding challenges in the second round, ORDER and Grayhound ended up with perfect 3-0 results from the others when they headed into the second stage.
On the first day of the race, Grayhound died 2-0 and attributed a further flawless victory for Avant on the second day. With the same success as Chiefs and Avant, ORDER was able to reach the distance between the two CS: GO esports juggernauts on Monday.
Although the movement was in the back dog, ORDER showed Dust2 and in the first half sprang out to a lead of 10-5. When the confidence was there, Grayhound rocked back to 11-3 seconds on CT to take an unbelievable lead. They ran out of steam.
The trust of ORDER crumbled to dust after enduring such a humiliating defeat. While Inferno’s second map was selected, ORDER couldn’t find its tempo. They had opposition early on, but Grayhound had to end 10-5 the first half and in the second half only had to finish the series with a flawless 2-0 victory for just six more games.
While the whole lineup of the Grayhound was incredibly well performed, it was Christopher’s “dexter” Nong with 1.56 HLTV, 50-31 KD and 102.7 ADR that stole the spotlight.
Grayhound will now play in the ESL Pro League S10 Finals in Odense, Denmark from 3-8 December, after securing the best seed in ESL Pro League S10. The tournament arrives with a $600,000 award-winning pool and IEM Katowice 2020 will secure an berth.
