The 3rd Dota Pro tour in the 2019/2020 competitive season will be at the ESL One Los Angeles.

ESL One Los Angeles is scheduled to take place next year from 15 to 22 March at the Shrine Auditorium.
Valve will pay half the tournament prize pool of one million dollars, while the promoters and ESL One will account for the rest. Their partners, the AT&T Corporation and GAME FUEL are primarily sponsored.
ESL One Los Angeles will be one of the six major events of the season at the 2 Dota, the rest of which are the 4 Mayors and The International 2020. The second one is the Dota Pro Circuit Major.
As a result, ESL One is very likely to consolidate its position as a key tournament organiser in Dota 2. This is also a well-earned award for them because, for many years, they have held Dota 2 tournaments.
The default Major Format of all DPC Majors will be Los Angeles. Qualifiers are required for participants from the six big Dota 2 regions worldwide: Europe, CIS, North America, South America, China and South-East Asia. Each zone earns two or three tickets and sends its best teams to qualify for the two-stage tournament.
The 16 teams will be split into four groups for this phase. The GSL format (dual-elimination) will be used for each team. The top two teams move up to the top bracket of the playoffs and the bottom two teams go on to the bottom bracket.
This move also plays in GSL style. PLAYOFFS This phase. The Lower Bracket begins with 8 players, while the other 8 starts in the Upper Bracket. Bo1s will be the first round of the Lower Bracket games. The other matches, except the Grand Final (Bo5), will be the bo3s.
The International 2020 is awarded a total of USD $1 million in prizes and 15 000 qualification points for ESL ONE LOS ANGELES PRIZES ESL One, Los Angeles. Such awards are divided as follows among the 16 teams.
- 1st place: $300.000; 4.850 pts.
- 2nd place: $160.000; 3.000 pts.
- 3rd place: $110.000; 2.100 pts.
- 4th place: $80.000; 1.350 pts.
- 5th – 6th place: $60.000; 900 pts.
- 7th – 8th place: $40.000; 450 pts.
- 9th – 12th place: $25.000; 150 pts.
- 13th – 16th place: $12.500; 100 pts.
