Two legends of CIS CS announced their return to the scene with a new roster.
Ever since the days of 1.6, CIS has been one of the most successful and talent-filled regions. Two of these talented players, Mikhail ‘Dosia’ Stolyarov and Rustem ‘mou’ Telepov, were part of the Gambit Esports roster that won the PGL Kraków Major in 2017, arguably the highest peak for the CIS region. That Gambit roster had some good runs at Tier 1 tournaments but Dosia and mou had parted ways with the team in December 2019.
After nearly two years away from the professional scene, Dosia announced his comeback with a newly created roster, including mou, who himself did not play for over eight months. The duo has played together ever since March 2015, on teams like Hellraisers, HS.GG and lastly the Chinese team OneThree.TSG.
In his interview with the Russian site WASD.tv, Stolyarov said they were the USA-based team approached them to pick them, but the process can get can be delayed due to the complication that can arise about the player registrations.
