Four Fortnite players have been banned for 60 days after Epic Games determined they cheated in this past weekend’s Fortnite Championship Series matches.
And this particular incident has the competitive community divided. There were no aimbots or wall hacks, so it’s not as cut and dry as most cheating stories.
Let us explain what went down.

So what do you think, did Epic Games come down too hard or did they get these bans right ? I think it’s better to be harsh when it comes to cheating.

If Swag and Jamppi got banned for life, 60 days is nothing for cheating.

I agree with Keith. I'm from austria and I don't follow baseball and for some odd reason I love baseball media. Not just movies, but anime/manga as well. One of my favorite movies is Major League, and I recently watched Moneyball for the first time and it blew me away.
They got what they deserved and they should just take it. They did this for multiple games and for multiple offences they need to be gone this long. Hopefully they learned from this but I have a feeling they won't and will do it again. So I'm happy they are gone for 60 days. They do it again then make the punishment even longer. Its not fair for others who were playing in the rules for them to pull this.
Some will say "oh poor them." But what about the others they cheated out of good placings in the tournament by doing this. No not a word from these people about the real victims in this. These guys are gone and if they keep this stuff up next ban should be 6 months. You agreed to the rules when you picked the game up. If you don't play by them then suffer the consequences and if you still can't learn your lesson after then sorry BYE BYE!
Maby a mechanic is crap and should be deleted from a game if it turns fighting your opponents into cheating… Sounds like moronic design choices to me.

hey found a small hole in the system and abused it so yea i would ban them to like you are just dirty little peasants if you do something like that you ruin the rep of some of the best players because you stay long enough alive and kinda steal there spot in the top because you are to scared to go in battle
Cheating is cheating, no excuses. They can't even act like they're not cheating. "BuT thEy wERe ShoOtiNG eaCh Other" , nobody ever gets into a shootout with an enemy team and just stands while getting shot, I'd give them the benefit of a doubt if they were completely new to the game, but they're not.
Cheating for me is (consciously) getting an unfair advantage over other players. If you do so, you are a cheater and deserve to be banned. It's that easy.
If its only one or two games the an is too much but these clowns done it in nine consequitive games so yea they deserve to be smack with a ban hammer

Yes, all cheaters deserve to be banned, they're ruining fair play gamers.
If you let these young kids who have the most amazing opportunities infront of them, try to take advantage of the system and get caught. They must act quickly and set the example. The videos make it incredibly obvious whats going on. Epic must make and example of these players to deter any future issues. If anything this a light punishment.
