Complexity removes stanislaw from the active roster – esportsjunkie

by Shehryar Raza

The NA CS: GO side, compLexity is rumored to make a couple of changes to its roster. The reports suggest that Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz is the first player to be removed from the active lineup.

No one is currently sure about who will replace Peter in the first team. According to Dextro, the team might be looking to make a long term investment by adding the 15-years-old Owen “oBo” Schlatter.

Stanislaw was recruited by the NA organization in April 2018. 6 months after the signing, compLexity miraculously made it to the top 8 of FACEIT Major in London. After that remarkable feat, the side has had poor results, this led to some changes. Despite signing several personnel, in the past few months, the team was not able to prove its potential. Recently some players of the team didn’t travel with the team owing to Visa issues, yet this change means that their might be something more to the story.

Stanislaw gained popularity during his time with OpTic Gaming. The side even managed to beat the Danish kings, Astralis in ELEAGUE season 2. After the triumph, Peter left OpTic and represented Team Liquid, where he failed to deliver results. After months of being without a team, he was eventually drafted by compLexity to play alongside his former teammate, Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan.

Yet even after his departure for the team, we will still see stanislaw representing compLexity is the finals of the ECS season 7. So it quite likely that Stanislaw’s replacement will be revealed after the competition.

Pronax retires from CS

A few hours before the announcement of removal of Stanislaw, we heard a unfortunate news regarding the retirement of legendary Counter-Strike professional, Markus “pronax” Wallsten. He officially announced it on his Twitter account. In the post he said that: From today, he is officially saying goodbye to the competitive landscape of CS: GO. The three-time major champion also thanked the community for its constant supports.

The 27-year-old was arguably attributed as the Counter-Strike player in 2008. In the team the competitive circuit was less developed and teams competed on 1.6. In CS: GO his glory days arrived when he was picked up by Fnatic in 2013.

In those days, the EU side was absolutely phenomenal. The team won two major titles in a row and also won also every competition the isde competed in. But unfortunately, the dominance of Fnatic came to an end, and pronax was replaced by Dennis “dennis” Edman.

After his removal from the side, he established GODSENT, with the aim to bring the glory days back to the Swedes. Yet it wasn’t the case, since after a series of poor results, GODSENT side was disassembled.

We might not see the player competing as a professional, but we might see him in a managerial position, since he claimed that he is working on something big. He ensured his fans that will make further announcements in the next few weeks.

Regardless of his retirement, we will remember pronax as a true legend of the game.
