Jensen returns to his old home in C9

A couple of days ago, we talked about the rumors regarding C9 Fudge’s return to the top lane after Summit was dropped off the roster. Cloud9 had a disappointing spring split run and they are looking to come back into summer in their best form possible. To achieve this, the North American organization has decided to sign the 27-year-old Danish mid laner Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen. The mid laner already had a run with Cloud9 that started back in 2015 and lasted all the way through 2018. This combination was never able to achieve an LCS championship but they were close multiple times.

Jensen was inactive during the spring split as he was released from the Team Liquid roster in December 2021. His run with Team Liquid was much more successful than C9’s as he managed to win two LCS championships in a row in 2019, the same year he joined the organization. The mid laner would be reuniting with his jungler from back in 2018, Robert “Blaber” Huang. This move is an exciting one to see as Cloud9 is looking to win the 2022 LCS Summer split and get a spot in this year’s world championship.

Maple leaves Absolute Legends to join TSM

TSM is looking to bounce back as they finished in 9th place in this year’s LCS Spring split. The Taiwanese player would be replacing TSM mid laner Zhu “Keaiduo” Xiong, this change is accompanied by former Estral Esports support Mia joining the roster. Huang “Maple” Yi-Tang’s professional League of Legends career is a very long one. Most of us will remember him from his days in Taiwan’s yoe Flash Wolves and his multiple international appearances. He was often regarded as one of the best mid-laners in the Taiwanese region, along Westdoor and Chawy.

We last saw him play in the LPL with Absolute Legends where he placed 13th. His results in the LPL have left us wishing to see him return to his old form. Maple joining TSM is something that many of the old fans of the League of Legends esports scene will deeply appreciate as we all know that Maple can be a very exciting player to watch.

Jiizuke comes back after a short hiatus

League of Legends Italian stallion is making a comeback after an inactive spring split. The mid laner is joining Giants, a Spanish team competing in the LVP Superliga. Giants’ performance last spring split wasn’t spectacular as they finished 7th and just one win away from getting into the playoffs. This was a much-needed change for the team if they wanted to increase their chances of getting into the playoffs for the summer split. The last time we saw Jiizuke was in the LCS with Evil Geniuses, the team that just won the LCS championship. His run started in 2020 Spring and he continued to play with the team for almost 2 years. Even if he didn’t manage to get into a grand final once, Jiizuke gave a lot to talk about. He was often criticized for his questionable plays but those were mostly accompanied by exciting moments, making it very interesting to see him play again.
