GenG Esports, as the North American Organization seeks to take its first step into the CSGO scene, is currently entering negotiations in order to sign the Cloud9 Counter-Strike roster of key members, along with Bulgarian leader Georgi’ ShiPZ’ Grigorov.
In the ongoing discussions, Timothy ‘ autimatic’ Ta and Damian’ daps’ Steele are the main goals for Gen. G, while the org’s interest was not confirmed in Oscar’ mixwell’ Cañellas, Kenneth ‘ koosta’ Suen or Yassine’ Subroza ‘ Taoufik
The NA pair is potentially one of the corners of Gen. G’s first CSGO foray, with reports claiming that the dual signatures were backed by the selection of CR4ZY’s riflerSHiPZ.
With the team’s failing booked by the last position in ESL Pro League Season 10 which sunk them into the upcoming relegation tourney, cloud9’s lineup has tried hard to make an impression in late international competitions.
At the most recent BLAST Pro Series in Copenhagen and at DreamHack Dallas, the team both started 13-16. Their last major run also came to a premature end following the losses to Astralis, Team Vitality and the FaZe Clan from Katowice’s New Legends stage.
After a series of roster changes, the organisation’s promised slot for Berlin was then lost. After two unpaid rosters of 2-1 and 2-0 in straight sets, the organisation could not reclaim a spot in Verti Music Hall.
Another reported target in the new Gen. G CSGO roster is the CR4ZY Rifler SHiPZ.
Gen. G has only been with its current organisation CR4ZY for the last month, but its other confirmed Transfer goal, Bulgarian Star SHiPZ. The team won their first event with a 2-1 win over Heroic at the DreamHack Open in Rotterdam and won $50,000.
Possible departures from the C9 roster can take some distance to explain the “team trouble” of VPEsports, which saw the DreamHack Atlanta Open pulling off even though the event had a prize pool of 100,000 dollars.
But if Gen. G does not make its movements in the signing market by 15 November, SHiPZ will be presenting itself at CR4ZY in Rotterdam, with teams like INTZ eSports and Heroic.
General G participated in the 2019 call of duty before a franchise slot for the 2020 CDL was refused.
Gen. G never played before in the Counter Strike and these players would register their signatures on the circuit the first time NA joined the circuit.
In the past, the organisation has been interested in a Call of Duty, the Seoul Dynasty works within the Overwatch League, which made a significant impact when it first joined the Legends scene in 2018, when it acquired the Samsung Galaxy World Championship team at the LCK.
