The Call of Duty League just revealed all the teams rosters that will be participating in the CDL Resurgence: Rebirth Island tournament, which will take place this Sunday, April 24, and teams will compete for a share of the $100,000 prize pool.

12 of the 20 participating teams are the ones we all know from the Call of Duty League, the other 8 are teams that qualified through different online qualifiers and will have the chance to play against the very best. All of this will happen in Call of Duty’s Rebirth Island map and this will function as a break for the main CDL players as this tournament will be taking place before the Call of Duty League continues on May 5, when the 2022 Pro-Am Classic matches begin.

The CDL teams playing in Semifinal A are Los Angeles Thieves, New York Subliners, Paris Legion, OpTic Texas, Los Angeles Guerrillas, Florida Mutineers, and the teams that got into the tournament through the qualifiers are Grev & Co., Dad Bods, Team Diverge, and JackalGetsCarried. On the other hand, Semifinal B will feature CDL’s London Royal Ravens, Atlanta FaZe, Toronto Ultra, Minnesota RØKKR, Seattle Surge, and Boston Breach, and the qualified teams TiberiousKhan, Haha, Underrated, and GOATs.

This is the first time that we will see the CDL teams compete in the game’s Battle Royale mode and it’s going to be very exciting. The prize pool will be divided in a way that every team in the top 10 will get at least $4,000 and the first-place team will take $30,000 home. Some of the teams have stacked rosters, for example, the LA Thieves with Almxnd, Rated, Tommey, and Newbz, this roster features 4 players in the 10 for most earned from Warzone Tournaments. It’s going to be interesting to see how they play it out against the teams that come into the tournament after playing through the qualifiers.

We will see familiar faces in this tournament, you can check out the team rosters on the official Call Of Duty League webpage, most of the players participating are known in the Warzone Battle Royale community as players and content creators, some of them are top players in this game mode. When it comes to the qualified teams, it’s going to be a huge opportunity for the newer players, we all know how important these tournaments are for those not well-known or even completely new within the scene. They have to put on a good show because there are going to be a lot of eyes on the tournament and this might be a good chance for them to get signed by a bigger organization as a player or a content creator. The tournament will be played online and is going to be broadcasted on the official Call of Duty League youtube channel on April 24 and you’ll be able to find all the details on the CDL official website as the tournament goes on.
