The Denver Broncos, who are 1-4, will face the Kansas City Chiefs, who are 4-1. The two teams will meet on October 12th, 2023 with a start time for TV coverage of 8:00 PM ET. American viewers will be divided between this game and the Braves vs Phillies in their NLDS. If you are looking for a parlay for the two games, my Broncos vs Chiefs betting prop prediction is that KC wins both halves in this game.

Denver vs Kansas City Betting Prop: Recent NFL News
The Chiefs are 4-1 but one of their losses came at home. That said, the loss was just a one-point loss. It came in Week 1 when the Detroit Lions, who rank high in our current NFL power rankings, handed KC a 21-20 loss. That 21 points that the Chiefs gave up stands as the most that they have given up so far this season.
The Chiefs’ defense is what has helped them get off to a solid start. Patrick Mahomes is playing well but the offense as a whole hasn’t always been great. KC has only cleared 30 points one time this season — and that was against the Chicago Bears.
But what makes this game interesting is that the Chiefs are up against a terrible defense. The Broncos surrender a whole lot of points. They have given up 28 or more in four of their five games, including 70 to Miami.
Broncos vs Chiefs Betting Prop: Betting Tips
That this game has blow-out potential is clear enough by the spread. KC is at -10.5 (bet365) in the main markets. But for a betting prop, bettors should look at a fringe market: “Team to Win Every Quarter.” KC is at +700 to outscore Denver in each quarter in the betting prop. It is tough for a team to win every quarter but those odds really account for the risk in this game.
My recommendation is to take that line conservatively. Meanwhile, make a more aggressive play on KC to win both halves. This latter line is at +120 but really you have to think that it’s probable that the Chiefs would beat Denver in each half on Thursday.
