Broncos beat Vikings on MNF

The NFL Week 11 Sunday slate brought us 11 games during the early and afternoon slates. After that, the Sunday night Football closed another Sunday in the league. And this time, the Denver Broncos beat the Minnesota Vikings on MNF, putting an end to Minnesota’s 5-win streak. On the other hand, the Broncos are now on a 4-win streak.

And it was a hard win for Denver. Even playing at home, being the favorites in the game and scoring first, they trailed during almost the entire game. After kicking a field goal in the first quarter, they conceded 10 unanswered points. With another two FGs, the Broncos got closer on the scoreboard and the game went to halftime with Minnesota leading 10-9.

After another touchdown for the Vikings (another rushing TD for Joshua Dobbs), Minnesota seemed like they would get the W. Especially because their defense was playing really well and only allowing field goals. And after another two kicks for Denver, scored after recovering a bunch of turnovers, the Vikings had the chance to basically close the win. But they only kicked a field goal, and the score was 20-15 with three minutes left.

Russell Wilson then led a great drive, with important connections with Courtland Sutton. And the connection worked also in the endzone. Sutton scored a touchdown with one minute left and the Broncos led the game for the first time since the first quarter. After a failed 2-point conversion, the game was 21-20. Minnesota even tried a drive to kick the game-winning field goal but they only got a turnover on downs, their fourth turnover of the game (1 INT and 2 fumbles).
