The Ukrainian organization is all set to make its first roster change after two years. Since some sources have revealed that Na’Vi is currently aiming to sign Winstrike’s in-game leader, Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov.
If the team manages to successfully recruit the player, then Boombl4 will take the position of Ioann “Edward” Sukhariev, who has been representing the team since 2013. He has won many titles with the Ukrainian organization, which includes ESL One New York, IEM San Jose, StarSeries i-League Season Seven and many more titles.
We believe that the roster changes were inevitable since the team failed to qualify for the finals of the ESL Pro League season nine. The team showed poor performance in the first round and unexpectedly lost to Heroic in the 2nd round. We should tell you that Heroic made a couple of changes to its lineup just before the game and Na’Vi was expected to dominate them. Yet they were an utter disappointment.

Who is Boombl4?
Boombl4 made his name in the competitive landscape of CS: GO after displaying impressive performances with Quantum Bellator Fire. The side fought against the odds and made its way to the top 8 of the ELEAGUE Major in January 2018. This was an impressive feat since the competition included the best team in the world.
Boombl4 has been competing in Winstrike since June 2018. In September of the same year, he was promoted as the in-game leader. We believe that if Boombl4 joins the first team of Na’Vi then he would still have to follow orders of Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko.
Yet even after this change, if Na’Vi still fails to get results on the board, then we could see another change. The team has failed to deliver results in the past weeks. It is odd to see them underperforming, Denis “electronic” Sharipov and Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev have been absolutely brutal in their game recently.
The Ukrainian side still has time to make changes, since we will see then in action in July at the ESL One Cologne.
The leaks
Commentator Alexei “yXo” Maletsky speculated about a possible reshuffle in Natus Vincere. The Caster noted that he does not have accurate information, but according to rumors, Alexander S1mple Kostylev , who “burned down with teammates”, initiated the rearrangements. This was revealed by Maletsky in a podcast with Arseniy “ceh9” Trinozhenko.
Before yXo, OverDrive said that “big changes are coming,” after which he added: Boombl4 is the priority option for NaVi, but he is not the only one. Who will make his way to the team is still unknown. On May 25, DonHaci posted a screenshot where, allegedly, NaVi held a test match with Mikhailov.
After winning StarSeries & i-League CS: GO Season 7 at the beginning of April, NaVi did not rise above fourth place in tournaments. The team entered the top 4 on the BLAST Pro Series in Miami and Madrid. The side also lost the qualifiers to the LAN finals of the ninth season of the ESL Pro League.
