Over the weekend, Blizzard dazzled a lot of gamers with some wild announcements, including Overwatch 2, Diablo 4 and Hearthstone AutoChess.
But, despite all the cool-looking games, Blizzard failed to distract us from the mess they started regarding Hong Kong. Sure they apologized, but did they really?

FREE HONG KONG
Stand with HK
The term "tough hearthstone esports moment" makes me fucking laugh. It's "heated gaming moment" all over again.
Blizzard should better start banning people with red shirts from their Q&As
I actually agree with keeping politics out of games. Politics has always divided us but games should bring us together. Don’t get me wrong I’m in favor of Hong Kong. I’ve actually have visited China before.
Unsubbed, keep politics out of this channel, those rioters are no angels, they are separatist criminals
Its not a protest in HK, its a lead to a terror attack….
He broke the rules set by Blizzard about making political statements.
If you're cool with that, don't get mad when some crazy fuck starts telling people to vote for Trump.
Don't get near into Winnie the Pooh's honey lawn. Thats the solution
Wtf is wrong with people what do you expect a company that was made to make profit to throw all their hard work just to satisfy you people
The protesters at BlizzCon are so heartwarming as a fellow HongKonger I felt that this whole issue was only acknowledged by us Hong Kong people only but to see people around the world support this issue.
I wonder if they did that reverse psychology thing and took all blame on themselves to make everyone in gaming world talk about Hong Kong.
Just kidding, they completely f*cked themselves up.
You realize they had to take that prize money away because China threatened to ban their games
To be completely honest – it is a political message in an inherently non-political event. Blizzcon is simply not a place for political comments, unless Blizzard explicitely allows it beforehand. The only reason that people are against the ban is because their political view matches the one he expressed.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely agree with the message, but this is a gaming convention and politics have no place there unless they somehow involve games or are planned by the organizers.
Rules should be rules, imo
What Blizzard humping Chads disliked this? The cowardice of American companies regarding China's lack of guaranteed human rights is pathetic and should be called out as often as possible.
Blizzard: we have a "highest standards".
Chinese money: are you sure about that?
Blizzard: not really.
what do you expect when money is on the line Blizzard will do anything to satisfy there master. deny it but Clearly they are. it's a shame.
ok actually every reaction i watched (2 steamers, german) they liked that blizzard apologized
