BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Challengers Stage Pick ‘Em Predictions

by The Old One

It’s the last ever Pick ‘Em Predictions for the final CSGO Major, and we’ve got some interesting picks

It’s a strange feeling to feel bittersweet while writing about the Pick ‘Em Predictions of a CSGO Major, but with the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 slated to be the last ever Major for the game, one can’t help but feel the weight of the end of one of the greatest eras in esports. There’s every chance that CS2 Majors will be just as impactful — hopefully even more — but for those who have followed the scene since its infancy, there’s at least a slight hint of sadness in the air.

Nevertheless, with the Major upon us, many people are trying to get the right Pick ‘Em Predictions for the Challengers Stage, and here are ours for your reference. First, though, let us take a look at all the BLAST.tv Paris Major Challengers Stage teams.

Paris Major 2023 Challengers Stage Pick ‘Em Predictions

With such an evenly-matched group of teams, it’s hard to gauge how any of them are going to perform. We’ve analyzed many different aspects of the teams as well as potential matchups to determine these results, and although this is still complete speculation, we hope it can help you out.

Paris Major 2023 Teams to Qualify 3-0 and Get Eliminated 0-3

While most fingers might point to FaZe Clan or G2 Esports for the 3-0 honor, we’re going to go unconventional with forZe Esports. The Russian side has shown plenty of growth over the last few months, and we think they’re going to surprise a lot of people at this event. We also think either G2 or FaZe will also get a 3-0 start, but we’re not sure which.

On the other hand, for the 0-3 loss, we’re picking Brazilian underdogs Fluxo. The team just doesn’t convince us as one that’s made for the big leagues as things stand. We could be proven wrong, but that’s the vibe we’ve gotten from them thus far. Another possible victim of a 0-3 drubbing is good old American underdogs Complexity, and anyone who has seen them play knows exactly why we think this.

Other Teams to Qualify to the Legends Stage of Paris Major 2023

We’re fairly certain both G2 and FaZe will make it through to the second round considering their form, and they should be joined by German up-and-comers GamerLegion, who have been looking brilliant and deserving of a decent Major run. Next up comes Norwegian squad Apeks, who seem to be improving with every match they play.

Swedish side Ninjas in Pyjamas, who seem to have been rejuvenated by their recent recruitment, makes our list after a solid RMR campaign, while the European mixed bag of OG, who finally seem to be coming into their own under their new leader, should also be able to make it through. Last but not the least, we’re pinning our hopes on another Euro squad in the form of MOUZ, who have had their fair share of setbacks but still have a highly potent roster.

There are certainly some notable exclusions on our list, and we thought it might be important to point out why they were left out. Despite their excellent run at ESL Pro League Season 17, ENCE seem to have run out of gas, while Team Liquid just don’t seem to have the kind of spirit they used to, and we don’t see them going too far at this event.
