Los Angeles Valiant family agency Immortals Gaming Club sold Beasley Media Group, a division of the Beasley Broadcaster Group, today announced IGC, to the Houston Outlaws Overwatch League franchise.
Immortals became owners of the outlaws in June by purchasing endless sports and entertainment. But since the OWL bans groups, IGC is forced to sell the Outlaws to another ownership group.
In March, the Beasley Media Group invested in Renegades, which is not the first time Beasley has invested in the world of sports.
We have considerably extended our rising sports network with the addition of Houston Outlaws,’ said Beasley CEO Caroline Basley. “The success in organising and supporting major events and our regional esport information centre–BeasleyXP–are key factors in our long-term gains from this project, together with our enhanced sportive network and management and expertise of the Renegades group.
The Overwatch League is heading towards a comprehensive home design which means each team will be tasked with organising many events during the year. We look forward to hearing the first updates from this exciting development when the third season of the League starts in February. The first homeland of the Outlaws will be on 29 February, when the team plays three games, including the London Spitfire.
