Astralis and Logitech G announce two-year partnership

by David Hollingsworth

RFRSH Entertainment has announced gaming peripheral and accessory company Logitech G as a partner of its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive brand Astralis.

The two-year deal will see Astralis use equipment supplied by its new partner – the players will also help the company test future products.

Just last week RFRSH Entertainment, announced a nearly-identical deal for its LEC side Origen. That brand will also practice with, and test, Logitech G products moving forward.

Jakob Lund Kristensen, Co-Founder of RFRSH Entertainment spoke about the partnership in a release: “We’ve invested significantly in the buildup of our teams, facilities, and the organization, and we’re constantly looking for areas to improve the conditions for both Astralis and Origen. We want to work with partners who have the same ambition, and the partnership with Logitech G will showcase this.”

Logitech G holds a number of partnerships in esports including the LEC, G2 Esports, London Spitfire, Altus Esports, ENCE, Royal Never Give Up, Team SoloMid, Lazarus and most recently Spanish organisation Team Heretics.

Astralis holds a number of sponsorships including OMEN by HP, betting platform Unibet, drinks brand NOCCO, clothing brand Jack & Jones, and Turtle Beach. The Danish side is currently competing at ESL One Cologne.

Esports Insider says: After the deal with Origen, this latest deal with Astralis is one to be expected. Astralis is one of, if not the most, recognisable teams in esports thanks to the team’s success in CS:GO over the past two years – it has certainly made the brand stand out from the crowd.
