Despite initial reports that the Alliance held its roster for the 2019-20 Dota Pro Circuit from the last two seasons, it would appear that the organization and players have agreed on a transfer.
Alliance confirmed today that the team has left and the organization is already building a new roster.
“It’s an unfortunate day today for Alliance because we have separated our loved team,” said coach and co-owner of Alliance Jonathan “Loda” Berg. “Every effort, long evenings, happy times, but also devastating defeats. However, we are also pleased and proud to have travelled this journey together and to have grown with them during a so important part of their careers.
“In 2017, Loda returned to active lists to join the newly-signed players and was the captain of Aydin ‘ iNSaNiA’ Sarkohi. Finally, the Alliance again retired to its coaching position, which allowed Max “qojqva” Bröcke to be signed.
It looks as if the five stacks that competed at The International 2019 will continue to play together in another team since the official statement of the Alliance says players are transferred and not disclosed.
