We are eight to nine days away from the last Minor of the 2018-2019 DPC. The competition will host some of the best teams from the across the globe. It will be an exciting opportunity for teams to secure tickets to the EPICENTER Major and qualify for the The Internations. So let’s have a look at the candidates who have the potential to get into the top 12.
There’s nothing like an Alliance dream
Alliance have recently made changes to its roster and seem to be back to its winning ways. We believe that they have the potential to squeeze into the DPC. The team made an exciting run into last Minor, but unfortunately collapsed in the last few matches. They lost to Ninjas and Pyjamas and EHOME to confirm a 3rd place finish. After that the side participated in the ESL One Birmingham 2019. The EU side was expected to make a good run since they managed to defeat PSG.LGD. But unfortunately, they had to leave the competition after the first stage since they were unable to get more wins on the board.
Best of luck to @LGDgaming in the LB Finals of #ESLOne Birmingham!

Heading into the Minor, Alliance will have to show a series of exceptional performances. SInce they will be facing other side with similar objective. The teams has the services of the of the TI3 winner Jonathan ‘Loda’ Berg. So we should expect a good competition from Alliance. In order to qualify for TI9 the side has to finish in the top two of the Minor and finish in the top three at the EPICENTER. Lets see how much strength the side has with less than 10 days remaining to the Minor.
Mineski’s long shot
The 2018-2019 season of Mineski has not lived up to the expectations. Since the side had multiple roster problems at some of the most important competition of the the season. After a second place finish at the ESL One Mumbai 2019, the side failed to perform in the Paris Major. The upcoming Minor could be a game changer for the team. Since TNC Predator and Fnatic have been the better teams this season.
The teams they will face in the Minor will be a lot tougher than the ones they faced in Mumbai. Yet with the arrival of Tang ‘71’ Wenyi as the coach, they are one of the favourites to win the Minor and give a tough time to the more experienced teams at the Major. Yet this is an optimistic opinion. Moreover, even if they had to qualify for the regional qualifiers, they will to face tough opposition like BOOM ID.
So we really hope the Alliance and Mineski make a strong run in the last Minor. The teams have declined in form but will be aiming to give 110%. After the Minor the teams will have little to no time for the EPICENTER which will host some of the best teams in the world.
