Swedish AI coaching platform developer Leetify announced yesterday that it has raised a €900K EUR ($972K USD) seed investment led by Finnish technology fund Inventure. Further investors that participated in the funding round, which was closed in April and exceeded the company’s $864K target, include Stockholm-based venture capital firm J12 Ventures and Copenhagen-based early-stage venture firm Futuristic.vc.
Leetify, which was founded by Anders Ekman (CEO) and Vitalii Zurian (CTO), intends to use its new funds to accelerate the company’s growth by improving its products and hiring new talent. According to Leetify, its coaching platform, which automatically analyzes Counter-Strike: Global Offensive matches for players and offers personalized in-game practice, reached 10K monthly active users since it launched in September 2019.
In a release, Anders Ekman explained Leetify’s long-term strategy, “…what we’re building is the ecosystem where gamers can go from amateur to pro. It’s not just about helping you improve, but also giving you a ladder to climb on your way to the pro scene. There’s no such thing as the extensive team infrastructure and the league system of soccer today, and I think we can be part of creating that.”
