Esports analytics firm FanAI has announced a partnership with Interpret, a consumer insights agency, to provide streaming audit and valuation services for teams, leagues, and events.
FanAI uses a combination of first-party data from rights holders and external data to produce esports audience insights, with social, ethnographic, and purchasing data. This collaboration with Insight will allow the companies to enrich that data with analytics that provide a more comprehensive picture of the audience, according to FanAI.
“With more and more non-endemic companies surging into the esports space, there’s never been a better time to forge this strategic alliance with FanAI,” said Interpret CEO Grant Johnson, in a release. “By linking their best-in-class data with our unique analytics, we’ll be able to provide much smarter guidance to our brand partners as they navigate the gaming and esports audiences.”
FanAI provides sponsorship valuation services, and has worked with teams such as Cloud9, Gen.G Esports, and Immortals, as well as tournament and league operators such as DreamHack and Hi-Rez Studios. The company has also started expanding into the traditional sports space, including with the NBA G League.
