RFRSH Entertainment has announced a partnership with 20th Century Fox that will bring promotions based on the upcoming film, Terminator: Dark Fate, to BLAST Pro Series Moscow in September.
Attendees of the event will see behind-the-scenes footage of the film at the VTB Arena in Moscow on Sept. 14, plus movie merchandise will be given away to fans. Additional details on the activation will be released closer to the event.
“We are very glad to work with one of the largest esports tournaments. As part of this partnership, two cultural phenomena have come together for us,” said Anastasia Polyakova, acting marketing director of 20th Century Fox, in a release. “We are sure that Terminator: Dark Fate will win the hearts of the audience, and BLAST Pro Series guests will be the first to be convinced of this by watching exclusive film materials.”
BLAST Pro Series Moscow is the fifth $250K tournament in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive events series, following previous stops in Los Angeles, Madrid, Miami, and São Paulo. ENCE, Natus Vincere, MIBR, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Team Vitality will all compete at the event, with Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) regional teams forZe and AVANGAR set to battle for the last spot on Sept. 13.
Toyota will also sponsor the Moscow event, alongside global season-long BLAST Pro Series sponsors Twitch, Betway, and OMEN by HP. Terminator: Dark Fate, starring Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger, releases in Russia on Oct. 31 and in the United States on Nov. 1.
