Last night, Filip “NEO” Kubski made his debut for FaZe as the new in-game leader against none other than Virtus.Pro. NEO represented the CIS side for almost four years, so this encounter made things quite exciting for everyone.
This match inaugurated the the fourth week of ECS season 7 and V.P comprehensively dominated this encounter from start to the finish.
Game 1
The first map of the series was picked by Virtus Pro and it was Nuke. The side started on the terrorist side and performed poorly in the first half with 10-5 on the scoreboard. Yet the team managed to get 11 rounds on the board after an exceptional performance of Michał “snatchie” Rudzki on AWP. FaZe didn’t re-evaluate its strategy and lost one round after the other without calling a timeout. It ended 16-10 in favor of Virtus Pro. The MVP of the map with 31 kills was snatchie.
We’ll continue on Overpass in a couple of minutes, stay tuned! #GOGOVP

Game 2
FaZe didn’t let the first game performance affect the 2nd match. The EU side had a decent start on Overpass playing as terrorists. The knew their tactic well and constantly exploited the B bomb site to win seven rounds in a row. The Polish side didn’t let FaZe get the best of them and got its way back into the game with an ace in 12th round. VP lost the fist half 9-6 and had good started to the other half. The side won the second pistol round and also won seven consecutive rounds of their own. Yet it was not enough to win the series. FaZe tied 1-1 after winning 13-16 and Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer got 28 kills for his side.
Close game on Overpass. Mirage is next! #GOGOVP

Game 3
Mirage was the last map of the series and it proved to be a blessing for VP. Since they won the pistol and completely annihilated FaZe with a 9-6 lead heading into half time. Virtus Pro was completely unstoppable in the second half since they didn’t drop a single round. V.P went on to win seven consecutive rounds to take Mirage 16-6.
Despite a terrific performance from Virtus Pro, it just not justifies the poor performance of FaZe Clan. This is just the worst result NEO could have gotten in the first match of the side. In Poland, Virtus Pro is the 5th best team. The side recently shaped its roster by including Michal “OKOLICIOUZ” Glowaty and Arek “Vegi” Nawojski. The side will now compete in the next phase of the ECS season seven against AVANGAR.
A convincing victory! Don’t leave yet, there’s another match coming up tonight #GOGOVP
