The top games from last week stayed put in their respective positions, but a new Hearthstone expansion pushed the online card game to 10M hours watched giving it fifth place.

The following titles are ranked according to the total number of hours watched on Twitch Database-Link-e1521645463907, from Monday to the following Sunday, with data compiled using TEO Analytics.

Last Man Standing

When Apex Legends Database-Link-e1521645463907 burst onto the scene at the beginning of February, it shook up Twitch in a way that no new videogame has in the past couple years, including Fortnite. However, the battle royale continues to struggle, and it has seen a week-over-week drop in viewership yet again.

The title seemed to be finding a point of stagnation when it was around 6M hours watched last week, but the game saw just 4.4M hours watched this week, in part due to a lack of star power that it previously had.

Last week’s 6M hours watched was supplemented by 617K hours watched by Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek and 329K hours watched by Herschel “Dr DisRespect” Beahm, but this week the game’s most-watched English stream was Twitch Rivals’ channel with just 275K. Japanese influencer and former Overwatch Database-Link-e1521645463907 pro Yuta “Stylishnoob” Seki led all streamers with 278K hours watched.

Back to the Nite

Epic Games Database-Link-e1521645463907

began its World Cup with a solo event this past weekend, and the event paid dividends for the game’s top streamers such as Turner “Tfue” Tenney and Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. The event also gave the main Fortnite Twitch channel an opportunity to produce 482K hours watched over the course of 15.7 hours of airtime with an average of 30K concurrent viewers (CCV)

In terms of its effect on Fortnite as a whole though, the event didn’t provide much in the way of hours watched. The game’s 16.8M hours watched total this week is identical to what it was from April 1-7.

Rise of Shadows

Online card game Hearthstone Database-Link-e1521645463907 saw a huge jump in its weekly viewership this week thanks to the release of this calendar year’s first new card set, Rise of Shadows. Prior to this week, the game was hovering around the 3M hours watched mark weekly, but the new expansion that released on April 9 helped the game more than triple that.

The biggest boost to the title’s performance came on April 10, when the game hit 2.5M hours watched for the day. Meanwhile, three different Hearthstone influencers who don’t typically get enough viewership to make it into Twitch’s list of top 10 channels for a week, made this week’s chart.
