In 2018, North America went further at Worlds than ever before. Going into 2019, the question on everyone’s mind is: How can they go even further?
One way is for the region to lean on their rookie talent.
You may not be used to North American amateurs taking over the world — but, if 2018 taught us anything, it’s that the next generation of talent is the future of NA.

Weird that they acted like Blaber was the big pickup for C9 cause honestly he didn't perform anywhere's near as well or as consistently as Licorice did.
2:35 i see what you did there…did josh and miles edit this video by chance? just curious LOL
Dude this channel is killing it every time I watch it I get so hyped for what North America can prove!
Broxah sounds like a young Arnold Schwarzenegger I love it
That second up-close side camera which was supposed to bring I don't know what to the video. You look like a cheesy salesman on a cheap cookware ad when those transitions in video take place.
You're doing good. Well made and interesting videos but this camera angle is just too cheeky man.
I got goosebumps at 8:57 when phreak yelled his voice out
C9 the only NA hope for worlds
Best meme video ever
Wouldn't this be more Reaper's doing? The man did so much to get them the scene of 2018. Wouldn't it be a better highlight to mark him or similar coaches ?
every time I see that SSB vs C9 clip I die a little inside
Thrs a reason why C9 is the best team in NA. Not TL, and DEFINETLY not TSM
Bring the Scouting Grounds Draft back!. I dont know why they didnt keep it. FORCE THE ORGANIZATION TO PICK YOUNG TALENT!. With this new system organization will just totally ignore the Scouting Ground.
Rookies? What rookies?. C9 is the only team looking for talent in the region. The rest of the team are just importing Korean and European players. Thanks to them we are a freaking joke because we got way to many Imports. Doing that they are cutting the chances of develop local talent. Pick a player, develop him and lets see where that goes.
Btw C9 is the greatest NA team ever. They always do something to changes the "Meta" in the LCS. 1st the bring the macro to our braindead teams, them show how important team chemistry is and now they are showing to the rest of the league how important is to scout, pick and develop young local talent.
Reminder that NA talent is about as homegrown as those coconuts they give away in school fairs and stuff. xD
I feel like C9 is the new scouting grounds for other teams to get from
I wonder if C9 owns theScore esports
In 3 years 50% of na will be import
Homegrown NA rookies are the best rookies in the west. Suck it EU. You have good mids tho <3
Still rekt by EU.
Quickshot: "Shows up on the international scene"
shows griffin lmao
* Rise of north American rookies in north America
NA Lul
Rise of C9 rookies
Don't know why NA keeps importing people from other regions. Look at C9 they didn't import anyone and look where they got.
I'm looking forward to the new season to see how NA now fares vs EU.
Although we all know it's impossible for NA to get crushed harder by EU than they did last season.
I mean a rookie did win world's ?
Nah,only c9 has good scouting agent. Others are trash. Examples are echo fox,tsm,100 thieves. They try to sub but always failed. Team Liquid is a coward, only rely on those washed up, cash cow players
You mean EU midlaners imported in NA?
If worlds taught me 1 thing. EU > NA
Ah 2014 the first time a western team made a Korean team sweat.
Taiwan can’t even get into the list of big regions…
2:30 "There became this RUSH" *shows rush*…. nice
Funny, a lot of NA rookies cited as examples look asian. Doesn't really help push the 'NA locals are talented' narrative…
NA teams should maybe stop importing. Some of these players doesn't have the motivation to win or at least go to worlds. They just want them crispy NA money
Yeah it's actually nice to see NA develop talent the whole import thing is a issue. And from reading the comments idk if some of yall watched the NA LCS, lots of young talent showed up. And yeah the LMS isn't a power region anymore since FlashWolves lost most of its talent
lol k
At what point will the gaming media stop refering to "NA talent" and just say C9 talent??? The rest of the region was as horrible as always if not even worse. NA as a region has no rights to say shit it really is just c9 who are doing great.
I mean, NA did make it further than ever (to semis) but they still had 2 imports on their team and basically only used 2 rookies, those 2 rookies were insane but I don’t think you should believe in NA talent, afterall Na got their first ever local top laner who’s world class, 1- world class top in 8 years, and still no world class midlaners to this day, i think imports and building teams like liquid and TSM with what NA already has is better, u shouldn’t invest in any talent u find just for the sake of investing in talent, Licorice was a massive standout even before he joined the roster, the talent that is worth investing into will stand out so, i think people should just wait for actual great talent like licorice and until it shows NA should just keep importing. Just don’t go around saying that young talent is the future of Na that’s just delusional like pls lmao, u won’t get a licorice and a DoubleLift every year, so why would players worse than them be the future?
that's what I've been saying that's what's wrong with NA instead of looking for talent in the region they choose to get world champion imports and look at them now far from their prime
NA LUL
cloud9 ADcarry Sneaky? I thought he is a professional cosplayer x)
Tears always come up when i see such things like licorice´s baron steal. I just love historic moments
I am waiting to be discovered next year this channel will make a video about me ^^
that baron steal was hype as fuck, too bad he was useless against fnatic
