Fortnite has revealed to us a teaser of what appears to be a new skin for this season. With the message Ruin is approaching, they have published the image of a figure with burning eyes. But, as is customary, Epic Games has not revealed more details. However, the two main theories shuffled by the fans are quite interesting.

On the one hand, many believe that it can be a new Fortnite skin. It would be the new skin of the Discovery Challenge or a new set of items. On the other hand, others already think at the end of the season and believe that Ruin can be the event that serves as a link for the next.

Ruin as a new skin

In case it is a new skin, many claims that it will be the Discovery Challenge. That is, it would be exclusive for those who complete the challenges. However, data miners have discovered a new peak whose aesthetics fit quite well with Ruin’s teaser. This could indicate that not only is it a skin, but a new set of items that will soon be available in Fortnite. So, in principle, everyone could get hold of it in the game store.

Ruin as an event of the new season

However, the theory that is gaining more strength is the one that relates Ruin to a new in-game event. Since it has more evidence in its favor. Because the fans point out that that mysterious helicopter that is flying over Fortnite lately has something to do with Ruin. Along with all the lava that is coming out of the excavations, and the mystery of the loading screen, questions keep coming up. We will have to see what else appears in the next excavation that will take place in the battle royale. According to the players, the burning eyes of Ruin are a reference to the event, which will be associated with lava.

Is it possible that just as we saw the Ice King fill snow Fortnite, we can see another being filling it all with lava? Well, we do not have much concrete evidence since Ruin is approaching.

Prince Harry vs Fortnite

In other eye-catching news, Prince Harry stated that Fortnite threatens children and it must be banned. During a visit to the London branch of the Young Men’s Christian Association, he said that the shooter was addictive.

The Duke of Sussex (one of the titles of Harry) called the game a ticking time bomb. He also urged parents to protect children from Fortnite and spend more time offline. Harry criticized the social networks: he believes that they are dangerous because they have no limitations.

Fortnite was released in July 2017. In March 2019, Epic Games announced that 250 million people had played the shooter, with an average monthly audience of 78.3 million.
