Shopify Rebellion star Artour “Arteezy” Babaev identifies the best carry picks for Dota 2 patch 7.34e

Each Dota 2 patch brings forth a tidal wave of changes, and the recently released 7.34e patch is certainly no exception. As a result, the Dota 2 community eagerly looks to the game’s most accomplished players for guidance following every patch update. Artour “Arteezy” Babaev, boasting an impressive tally of half a dozen Tier 1 titles, is the latest pro to share his opinion about the new patch. Here are the best carry picks for Dota 2 patch 7.34e, according to the Shopify Rebellion carry.

What are the Best Carry Picks for Dota 2 Patch 7.34e, According to Arteezy?

Arteezy has curated a list of his preferred carry heroes in the latest update, 7.34e. During a recent livestream, the veteran carry was asked about the top carry heroes in the new patch. He acknowledged Spectre as the ultimate carry pick but also revealed he does not feel comfortable playing with it.

“Favorite carry? Probably, Faceless Void this patch; Void, and Luna, one of those. And the best carry is Spectre, but I don’t really like it. I don’t feel like it’s fun. I can play it, and I think I play it pretty well, but I don’t like it.”

Yatoro or Nightfall? Arteezy Responds to the Best Carry Debate

Arteezy also weighed in on the ongoing debate about the superior carry player between Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko and Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk. His stance leans towards Yatoro, recently crowned as a TI12 champion with Team Spirit, emphasizing Yatoro’s penchant for taking bold risks in critical matches, which sets him apart from his BetBoom Team counterpart. Arteezy notes that while Nightfall tends to adopt a more cautious and predictable approach, Yatoro showcases a more innovative and daring style during game-deciding moments.

“I think Yatoro just plays better in the really high-stakes matches. He takes more risks, and it’s more rewarding. Egor plays more standard, safe. But it seems like it’s hard to win in the big stakes game [this way], as it’s not that simple, guys. Got to take risks a little bit.”

Nightfall’s statistical brilliance is undeniable—his consistent leaderboard placements and stellar KDA figures speak volumes. The chatter pitting him against Yatoro gained traction when famous Dota 2 streamer Gorgc claimed that he believes Nightfall performed better than Yatoro throughout the season.

Yatoro clinched his second TI title in Seattle with Team Spirit in October. The team’s dominant display established a historic high for the event’s win rate. Although Nightfall showcased stronger KDA and other metrics, Yatoro’s standout performance saw him topping the GPM chart.

What’s Next for Arteezy?
