This is our Dota 2 Patch 7.35 Wishlist. We expect to see a lot of changes in the game’s latest patch.
The end of The International 12 usually marks the end of the current Dota 2 season. We are currently in the Dota 2 roster changes Post-TI12, but the first big Dota 2 tournament will take a few weeks from now. As reported, ESL Kuala Lumpur 2023 will be a pretty big event, but the bad news is that Team Spirit, the current TI winner, will not be able to be a part of it.
Besides the first big tournament, Dota 2 fans and players also expect to see the new update. The Patch 7.35 should arrive anytime now, meaning that there are tons of rumors about the things we can get. Naturally, we also have our Dota 2 Patch 7.35 wishlist, so let’s learn more about everything.
Dota 2 Patch 7.35 Wishlist – Spirit Breaker Nerfs
One thing is certain – every new Dota 2 patch nerfs some of the best heroes from the previous one. We have already covered some of the heroes that will most likely receive a significant nerf, but it is also important to add Spirit Breaker to the list. He is by far one of the most annoying and strongest heroes in the current meta, which is why one of the things on our Dota 2 Patch 7.35 Wishlist is to see nerfs for him.
These changes can come in many forms, such as a nerf to his bash percentage or some of his other abilities. We’ve seen Spirit Breaker as support, carry, and offlane, and we can safely say he works in all of them. What’s more, players often need to get specific items so they can survive against this hero. That’s why we think that there will be at least a few nerfs.
A new objective
Dota 2 players and fans alike have been interested in a new big objective for years. Even though Valve changed a lot of things about the map in 2023 by adding new things, some players expected to see something that’s as important as Roshan. Since the community hasn’t received it so far, this is one of the things on our Dota 2 Patch 7.35 Wishlist.
This objective can come in many forms and give different rewards. For example, some players may like seeing something that will give each team member a boost to his damage/speed, etc., for a brief period of time after killing it. This can be an incredibly successful move because one of the problems in the current Dota 2 patch is that it is really hard to push, so teams only rely on the Aegis to do that. By adding a new objective, the Dota 2 Patch 7.35 will make everything feel “faster” because teams will be able to use this boost to try and end the game. After all, most games nowadays focus on having faster gameplay, so we expect the same things to happen here.
Buffs to a lot of the popular heroes
Aside from nerfs to some of the broken Dota 2 heroes like Spirit Breaker and Dazzle, we also expect to see at least a few buffs. Currently, there are tons of popular heroes that the Dota 2 Patch 7.35 may make stronger than they are, such as Ember Spirit. The hero has never been in a worse state than now, which explains why almost no one relied on him at The International 12.
When discussing the Dota 2 Patch 7.35 Wishlist, another hero that we could see buffs for is Shadow Fiend. Although he got a lot of changes in 2022 and 2023, he hasn’t established himself in the mid-lane. In fact, we only saw the hero 2 times in action during TI12’s main event, and he lost both matches. Therefore, we expect to see at least one or even two buffs.
Better Support Items
Items have a crucial role in Dota 2, so every new update includes at least a couple of changes. Some items become a lot stronger than others, but we also see different nerfs, as well as the addition of a lot of new items. The latter is always fun, but one of the things on our Dota 2 Patch 7.35 Wishlist is to see better types of support items.
What we mean by that is that Valve should try to come up with new items that allow support players to upgrade the most common options. There are a lot of examples of items that are good, such as Pavise, and even secured a 100% win rate at TI. However, the item was never that popular because there was nothing you could upgrade it to. Consequently, most support players preferred to get other types of things.
Aether Lens is also a good example, even though this item is much more popular than the one mentioned earlier. It could fit into many support heroes and their item choices, but the item is just not that popular because some heroes prefer to get items that can be upgraded later on.
New Game Modes
It has been a while since Dota 2 players have seen new game modes. Even though this is not Overwatch 2, and most players will keep focusing on All Pick, having more options to choose from is a big plus.
There are a lot of different things that Valve could do when adding a new mode. For example, a lot of people may be interested in having access to a PvE mode (or something similar), that will allow them to win different items. While talking about items, our Dota 2 Patch 7.35 Wishlist also has something related to them, especially Arcanas. There were a lot of posts on Reddit where people were eager to get the old Arcanas that are no longer available, so it will be interesting to see if Valve will decide to feature this option.
