NFL Week 7 will start with the Thursday night game. The Jacksonville Jaguars, one of the hotter teams in the NFL and an entrant in our Top Ten NFL Power Rankings, will be on the road. They will face the New Orleans Saints in an important game for both teams. At this very webpage, we will be providing NFL Week 7 predictions, picks, and betting tips for all the games that are scheduled. We focus on the main markets on this page, meaning we’re looking at one of the moneyline, the spread, or the total points.
Injury report news
Injury reports are a formative part of our betting tips. For the Thursday night game, the first report comes out on Monday and the final report comes on Wednesday. When it comes to the Sunday games, the teams publish injury reports from Wednesday to Friday. For the Monday night game, it’s Thursday to Saturday.
For those who are looking for an early bet in Week 7, our recommendation is to take the Green Bay Packers are -1.5. Green Bay is just 2-3 so far this season but they are coming off of a bye week. They should be very prepared for the Denver Broncos, a team whose injury updates are still pending from their last game.

Jags vs Saints: Thursday Night Football Week 7
The Jacksonville Jaguars started as small favorites in their Week 7 game at New Orleans. However, amidst news that Trevor Lawrence has a knee injury on this short week of rest, the Jags have drifted to small underdogs. But the Saints have a much longer injury report. Also, it’s thought that Lawrence might be available on Thursday night due to rapid improvement. Lawrence (knee) was a limited participant but that was an upgrade from DNP on Monday. The Jaguars remain optimistic he’ll be available to play in Thursday’s game against the Saints, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reported recently. With the Saints listing all kinds of players on their half of the report we’re going with Jacksonville, who look like the better team to anyways.
NFL Week 7: News and Notes
Heading into Week 7, there are no undefeated teams left in the NFL. The last two teams that were undefeated each fell in NFL Week 6, the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Two teams coming off of a bye from Week 6 are the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers. They have been highlighted in the chart above. Presumptively, they will have better-than-average injury reports.
Teams that will not play in Week 7 are the Dallas Cowboys, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Carolina Panthers, the Houston Texans, the Tennessee Titans, and the New York Jets. These teams are all on bye weeks, which makes for a fairly light schedule of games. There are just 13 games to be played in Week 7, the bulk of which will be played on Sunday.
There are no international games for Week 7. The international series is on hiatus until Week 9. Miami and Kansas City will play from Germany in early November, a game that looks very promising for competitiveness between star teams.
Looking at Week 7, the Dolphins and the Eagles in the stand-alone game on Sunday night looks like the best one. The two teams are each 5-1 and will score high in almost all credible NFL power rankings.
