MASONIC lifted the trophy as the only non-academy team in the tournament
MASONIC took down PROSPECTS in the Grand Finals to become Heroes Of Lofoten champions. The Danes picked up a 2-0 win to take the trophy home alongside a $5500 check.

MASONIC fought their way through the Closed Qualifier to earn a spot in the Norwegian tournament, narrowly defeating 7AM in a nail-biting showdown.
Even though they had to grind out a victory in the Closed Qualifier to get to the tournament, MASONIC were unstoppable in the LAN event. They made light work of the academy teams they faced in the tournament and went all the way without losing a single map.
MASONIC’s campaign in Norway kicked off with a clash against MOUZ NXT, who put up a valiant effort but were ultimately unable to withstand the sheer skill and determination of the Danish team, who emerged victorious with a commanding 2-0 win.
MASONIC faced off against Astralis Talent in their next match, with the Danish team showing no mercy to their compatriots. Astralis Talent had Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth in their squad, who was part of the historic Astralis team that won the first Intel Grand Slam title. The veteran rifler’s presence, however, could not help Astralis Talent to tame the indomitable force of MASONIC. They registered another clean sweep and established themselves as the team to beat.
MASONIC’s journey in Heroes of Lofoten culminated in a Grand Final showdown against Brazilian powerhouse 00 Nation’s European wing, PROSPECTS, and the Danish squad already had the upper hand before the game even kicked off.
PROSPECTS’ Johan “hype” Engblom, the top-rated player of the tournament, unfortunately, fell ill before the final, causing his team to look for a replacement. They ended up choosing Linus “LNZ” Holtäng from Young Ninjas to step in for him.
MASONIC didn’t let the opportunity slip away, as they won the first map, Inferno (16-12), before putting the cherry on the top with a 16-4 thrashing on Ancient.
